Distance Covered:

Arrived mid morning to find 3.7\'s on the water, but the wind was dropping rapidly. Rigged 5.3, but the wind disappeared completely and then came and went with just about enough to get going on a 6m at times. Sat it out in the brilliant sunshine and the wind started to fill in again during the afternoon. Had a good session on 5.3 and 90 litres with the wind still building. Ended up on 4.7 and 69 litres well powered. Eventually called it a day as I needed to change down again, but was done in. Excellent day, but I need more practice in the waves.

Windguru tend to give W or WSW on the MM5 forecast when the GFS and Theyr.tv give SW. Theyr and the GFS seem more accurate in direction and the GFS actually predicted the midday lull. Yet the MM5 is supposed to be more accurate than the GFS!
